HURRICANE HELENE RECOVERY
In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, we are working quickly to relaunch the Transylvania Tomorrow Emergency Support Grant Program. This initiative aims to provide critical relief to the Transylvania County community by establishing a way to collect funds that can be directly distributed to those in need. We are inspired by the outpouring of support from individuals who love this area and want to help from afar.
We are committed to ensuring that assistance reaches businesses in our community impacted by Hurricane Helene. We will work to establish guidelines and applications for support in the coming weeks. While more details will be available soon, we encourage everyone to consider donating as we unite to rebuild and strengthen our community.
The Transylvania Tomorrow Emergency Support Grant Program, funded through the Community Focus Foundation 501(c)(3), will provide resources to assist with recovery efforts. This initiative builds on the success of our past efforts—during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Transylvania Tomorrow Small Business Emergency Relief Fund raised and distributed $250,000, supporting 111 local businesses during their time of need.

The Business Support Task Force was formed as a direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with the mission of collaboratively supporting the community in times of crisis. The Task Force includes the Brevard/Transylvania Chamber of Commerce, Heart of Brevard, Transylvania Economic Alliance, Blue Ridge Community College Small Business Center and Transylvania County Tourism. The Task Force are also all sponsors of the fund.
