The Community Focus Foundation of Transylvania County, NC, is a collection of funds established by civic-minded people to meet a wide range of community development needs now and in the future. By being locally managed, the Foundation reflects the priorities of the community itself.
  • It allows maximum tax deductions for charitable gifts.
  • It serves as a bridge between the donor and the community.
  • It provides monies that assist others in addressing needs and improving our quality of life.

Community Initiative Project Fund
A temporary pass-through fund that supports the fund raising efforts of groups/organizations not designated as 501(c)(3) but that are involved in a community development project/program that is charitable in nature.

Community Fund
​Composed of unrestricted gifts that allow the Board of Directors to respond to needs, support innovative programming and enhance the quality of community life. This fund allows for principal invasions.
Saturday morning at the Transylvania Farmers' Market. Funding through CFF helped the Market to accept donations that allowed them to grow and develop while working to get their 501(c)3 status.
